AMERICAN author Michael Chabon, a Pulitzer Prize winner, is to give a talk at Waterstones bookshop in Oxford.

Mr Chabon, the author of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, will discuss his new novel Moonglow, when he visits the store in Broad Street on Friday, at 7pm.

Moonglow has been described as Mr Chabon’s most personal novel yet and unfolds as a deathbed confession.

During the novel an old man tells stories to his grandson, uncovering bits and pieces of a history long buried.

The author won the Pulitzer Prize in 2001 for The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.

The talk and signing costs £5 to attend, or £3 for Waterstones cardholders.
