A MAN charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a three-year-old girl was killed on the A34 near Oxford appeared before magistrates today.
Lorry driver Thomas Hunter, 58, of Mansfield Road, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, has appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court following a collision on the A34 at Hinksey near Oxford on August 25 last year.
Three-year-old Isla Wiggin was seriously injured in the incident and died on August 27.
Hunter is also charged with causing serious injury to Collette Wiggin by driving dangerously.
The 58-year-old was released on bail to appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 17 at 10am.
He was released on bail on condition that he does not drive any mechanically or electrically propelled vehicle.
