People living near the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook have been warned to be alert to the risk of flooding.
The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert following heavy rain over the weekend.
It said that the water levels of both rives had been rising steadily throughout the night and were expected to continue to rise today.
It added that flooding of low lying land and roads was expected this morning but that property flooding was not predicted.
The rain is forecast to ease this afternoon and tomorrow should be a drier day, which may lead to the warning being lifted.
