A MAN was attacked during a night out in Oxford's Kiss Bar.
Police said the 24-year-old was walking past a man, who was talking to a woman, when he was grabbed at about 3.35am on December 17.
The victim was assaulted and sustained head injuries that required treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
He has since been discharged. Police only released details of the incident today.
Investigating officer Det Con Marc Robinson said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has any information which could relate to it, to come forward and contact Thames Valley Police.
“There were a significant number of people in the bar at the time of this incident, and so I am hopeful that people will get in touch and talk to us about anything they may have seen.”
Those with information should call 101.
