FOUR fruit machines at the Company of Weaver pub in Witney were raided during an early morning break in. 

The pub was broken into at about 5.30am this morning and cash stolen from the gaming machines. 

The theft has been reported to police, who were seen outside the pub, in Market Square, this afternoon. 

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "We can confirm that The Company of Weavers, in Witney, was broken into at around 5.30am this morning and the police attended. 

"We are helping them in whatever way we can.

"Four gaming machines were broken into, with an amount of cash stolen.

"The pub is open as normal."

It is not known how much cash was stolen at this time. 

We have have asked Thames Valley Police for more information. 

The pub was burgled in October with cash stolen from the fruit machines by a man who broke in at 3.30am.
