A 27-year-old man has died after a lorry, motorbike and car crashed on the A4074 near Wallingford just after midnight this morning.
An 18-year-old man from Wallingford was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit. He is currently in custody.
There were only three people involved in the crash including the 27-year-old motorcyclist, the driver of an orange Scania HGV and the driver of a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
The motorcylist is believed to be from Reading and his next of kin have been informed.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Gavin Collier, said: “We would urge anyone who was on or near the A4074 at the time of the incident and witnessed any of the vehicles prior to the incident to call us on 101.”
Anyone who witnessed this incident or saw the vehicles prior to this incident is asked to call 101and quote URN 16 29/11.
