AN INQUEST into the death of Oxford City Football Club managing director Colin Taylor will take place today. 

Mr Taylor, 62, was found hanged at the club’s ground in Marsh Lane in July. 

The father-of-two volunteered at the club for more than 20 years and promoted all-inclusive football, setting up a team for disabled children and adults. 

An inquest opening shortly after his death found there were no suspicious circumstances.

It will be concluded at Oxford Coroner’s Court from 11.15am.

The father-of-two worked in senior finance positions at Ford, Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW and Rover Group throughout his life while also volunteering for Oxford City Football Club for two decades.

More than 200 people attended an emotional funeral to 'Mr Oxford City' in August and former players, managers and fans paid tribute.
