BANBURY

James Cockill, 28, of Barry Avenue, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Gosford and Water Eaton, on June 4. Handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. 

Joe Elmore, 25, of Grimsbury Drive, Banbury, was convicted of assaulting Aimee Kate Basford by beating her in Banbury on July 19. Handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement. Ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £400 costs.

Victor Manuel Rodriguez Hernandez admitted stealing six jackets and eight belts worth £5,350 belonging to Versace in Bicester Village, in Pingle Drive, Bicester, on November 5. Also admitted stealing an £865 jacket from Carolina Herrera and two jackets worth £2,091 from Roberto Cavalli. Also admitted having a detainer for use in the course of or in connection with shoplifting on the same date. Jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Jake Young, 22, of High Furlong, Banbury, admitted assaulting Christopher Young by beating him in High Furlong, Banbury, on July 17. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community order by not attending unpaid work sessions on July 24 and October 2. Handed an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months, with a rehabilitation activity requirement. Ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Sebastian Cardoso, 58, of Sunderland Court, Grove Road, Bladon, admitted drink-driving in Main Road, Long Hanborough, on October 22. Had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without third party insurance. Fined £225 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 20-month driving ban. 

Mark Fox, 35, of Damems Lane, Keighley, Bradford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Banbury, on October 22. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence. Fined £333 and ordered to pay a £33 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Lydiatt, 53, of Middleton Road, Banbury, admitted failing to give his name and address to a constable after being suspected of acting in an anti-social manner by making obscene gestures while drunk, in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on October 23. Also admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty ay Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on the same date. Also admitted causing criminal damage by damaging a police cell mattress worth £97. Handed a community order with a four-week electronic curfew requirement. Ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge, £50 costs and £97 compensation.

Jack Malamba, 19, of Wanstead Road, Ilford, London, admitted possessing 0.179g cocaine, a class A drug, in Bicester on August 21. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a 330 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

OXFORD

Richard Kinnard, 36, of Phelps Place, St Clements, Oxford, admitted of behaving disorderly while drunk in Cornmarket, Oxford, on October 23. Also admitted being in breach of an offence while subject to a conditional charge order. Fined £100. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. No action taken on the breach.

Helen Valerie Satchell, 46, of Station Road, Henley on Thames, admitted driving a motor vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit in Hagbourne Road, Didcot on October 23. Her reading was 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £450. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 22 months.

Michael Vallier, 53, of Elder Way, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford September 29. Community order made. Criminal behaviour order made for two years with requirements of not to be on a bus while under the influence of alcohol, drink or be drunk in a public place within Oxford city. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £85.

Kera Jane Gibson, 25, of Thames Street, Oxford, admitted behaving disorderly while drunk in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on October 16. Also pleaded guilty to assaulting two police constables in the their execution of duty in Cornmarket Street on the same day. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. 60 hours unpaid work for 12 months. Ordered to pay compensation of £150.

Hekuran Berisha, 29, of Falcon Close, Oxford, admitted driving a motor vehicle in High Street, Oxford, while over the legal alcohol limit on October 23. Berisha gave a reading of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £345. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

Dean Luckett, 29, of Meadside, Dorchester-on-Thames, Wallingford, admitted stealing £250 in cash belonging to Peter Owens at Co-operative Retail Services in Berinsfield on September 20. Also admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class B, Ketamine, at Abingdon Police Station on September 21. Community order made to complete 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Ordered to pay £155 in compensation and pay costs of £85.

Kinga Morawa, 32, of Horspath Road, Oxford, admitted driving a motor vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit in Hollow Way, Headington, on October 22. Morawa had 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £166. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.
