Shaun Lines, 26, of Edward Stone Rise, Chipping Norton, admitted assaulting Amy Marshall by beating her in Springfield Avenue, Banbury, on October 8. Handed a community order with a 40-hour unpaid work requirement. Also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Todd Shayler, 27, of Raymond Road, Bicester, admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 21. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Andrew Nesbit, 38, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £36 from Morrisons, in Banbury, on September 30. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 14. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge. Ordered to pay £20 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Payne, 29, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted assaulting Daisy Leary-Jones by beating her in Bretch Hill, Banbury, on September 25. Handed an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Julie Reeve, 44, of Roundham Close, Kidlington, admitted failing to promptly notify Cherwell District Council her earnings had increased, which affected her entitlement to housing benefit. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Liam Taylor, 22, of Hill Close, Chipping Norton, admitted stealing food worth £39.51 from Aldi Stores Ltd, Banbury Road, Chipping Norton, on October 13. Also admitted assaulting Grzegorz Cichon by beating him in the store in Aldi Stores Ltd, Banbury Road, Chipping Norton, on the same date. Handed a community order with a programme requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement and 60-hour unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay £50 compensation and an £85 victim surcharge.

Klejti Sula, 24, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing a false Italian identity document in Banbury on October 17. Jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Richard Butler, 40, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a bike worth £25 belonging to Alkerton Waste Recycling Centre in Alkerton on September 5. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 7 and committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Lewis Heaver, 23, of West Street, Banbury, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty in Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, on July 31. Also admitted harassing Emily Craig by calling her numerous times, repeatedly texting her and sending her abusive and threatening messages between June 9 and August 22. Handed an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months, with a rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £285 costs and a £115 victim surcharge. Handed a restraining order.

Ryan William Sexon, 18, of Crown Mews, Abingdon, admitted, admitted without lawful excuse, damaging a Volkswagen Golf on September 1 in Jubilee Way, Didcot. Also admitted possessing cannabis and possessing a pruning saw without good reason or lawful authority on September 1 in Hagbourne Road, Didcot. Ordered to pay compensation of £731. Handed suspended sentence of 21 days for 24 months and six months suspended for 24 months to run concurrent. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £115.

Janusz Lach, 49, of Newlands Way, Cholsey, Wallingford, was convicted of driving a car silver Ford Focus in Ferry Lane while above the legal alcohol limit on July 24. Had 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £150. Driving record endorsed with 10 points.

Mark Gregory Needham, 38, of Heron Lane, Great Western Park, Didcot, admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class B in Didcot on September 17. Also committed a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of four months suspended for 18 months on June 20 implemented. Fined £100. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.

Jordan Ashley Anderson, 27, of Chillingworth Crescent, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man by beating him on June 2 in Oxford. Community order made. Defendant put on a curfew. Ordered to pay £100 in compensation and costs of £85.

Sheldon Scott Lea, 28, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man by beating him on June 2 in Oxford. Also convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her on August 5. Community order made for both offences as well as a curfew requirement. Ordered to pay £200 in compensation and costs of £500.

Josh Lee Abbott, 20, of Mendip Heights, Didcot, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order. Failed to attend unpaid work requirement on June 30, July 7, July 8, July 12 and July 13. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 12 weeks suspended for 12 months imposed.

David Hayden Tovey, 31, of Neithrop Avenue, Banbury, admitted criminal damage to property valued under £5,000. Damaged a Peugeot 107 to the value of £680 in Sycamore Drive on September 25, without lawful excuse. Also admitted damaging roof tiles to the value of £800 in the same road on the same day. Both charges discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay compensation of £460, a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.
