Jay Chaston, 27, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting Charlie Howells by beating her in Littlemore, Oxford, on April 10. Also admitted assaulting Lydia Asamoah by beating her in Littlemore, Oxford, on the same date. Ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Michael Hardisty, 33, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of Martini worth £7.99 from Uni Food and Wine, Oxford, on May 12. Also admitted racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress towards Avtar Singh Lalburual in Oxford on the same date. Also admitted failing to sign the sex offenders register on October 11 and October 18. Handed a 16-week sentence and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Matthew Osbourne, 37, of St Mary's, Wantage, admitted stealing meat and alcohol worth £111.07 from Budgens in Abingdon on April 23. Handed a community order with an eight-week electronic curfew requirement. Ordered to pay £111.07 compensation and £85 costs.

Ryan Eeley, 18, of Pipkin Way, Cowley, Oxford, admitted assaulting James Jackson in Blandford Avenue, Oxford, on June 12. Handed a community order with an 80-hour unpaid work requirement. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation and £125 costs.

Tre Phillips, 21, of Parsons Place, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Abingdon on September 29. Handed a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Simon Clover, 48, of Brookside, Abingdon, was convicted of assaulting Muhammad Adnan by beating him, and it was religiously aggravated, in Ock Street, Abingdon, on June 11. Handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and a 150-hour unpaid work requirement. Also ordered to pay £150 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £620 costs.

David Talbot, 65, of Howard House, Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Glebe Road, Didcot, on August 18. Had 205 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, exceeding the limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £215 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 20-month driving ban.

Nathan Thornhill, 35, of Station Cottages, Challow Station, Challow, Faringdon, admitted causing criminal damage by damaging a car window worth £100 belonging to Michelle Winney in Coulings Close, East Hendred, Wantage, on July 9. Handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Elidio Mendonca, 31, of Rosehill Oxford, admitted assaulting Fatima Cardosa by beating her in Bicester on August 14. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £250 costs. Also made subject to a restraining order.

Richard Capel, 45, of O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour wit hint the hearing or sight of a person likely to be cause harassment, alarm or distress in Kidlington in January 28. Also admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on September 10. Also admitted driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without third party insurance in London Road, Chipping Norton, on September 10. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 costs. Also handed a community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £50 costs. Handed a 36-month driving ban.

Anthony Martin, 37, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing three bottles of vodka and two bottles of whiskey worth £143.50 from Tesco, Marcham Road, Abingdon, on September 5. Also admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment or alarm or distress by words or writing on the same date. Jailed for 21 days and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Joseph Hamilton, 24, of Balfour Road, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted assaulting Stacey Gardner by beating her in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, on July 7. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Abingdon Police Station on September 1. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Robert John Joyce, 52, of Parsonage Close, Charlton, Wantage, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit on September 29 2016 in Didcot. Joyce gave a reading of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £1385, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £139 and to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 17 months.

Justin Michael Hicks, 39, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to placing himself in a public place, street, highway, court or passage namely Park End Street to beg or gather alms on October 14 2016. Fined £50. Ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20.
