THE district council in West Oxfordshire is urging residents not to let their Halloween pumpkins go to waste.
Once the festivities are over, people living in the district can cut up their used pumpkins and place them in their food waste bin as part of the usual weekly collection.
Councillor Richard Langridge said: “Halloween grows more popular every year but one of the scariest parts for us is the thought of all those pumpkins going to waste.”
