THIS was the unlikely selfie two friends managed to get with Theresa May and David Cameron as the Conservative prime ministers canvassed their street.
Lindsey Auton was visiting friend Rebecca Sherwood in Long Hanborough when Mrs May arrived by motorcade to knock doors with Robert Courts, the local Tory candidate for the by-election on Thursday.
They were joined by Mr Cameron, the Prime Minister’s predecessor, whose resignation as Witney MP last month triggered the poll.
Speaking yesterday mum-of-one Ms Auton said: “We saw a load of big cars and security people arrive and realised they were outside.
“They were very chatty and David Cameron said he should take the selfie because he had the longest arms.
“It was really bizarre and totally unexpected.”
