Police have released CCTV images of men they want to question after an early morning raid at a Witney butcher’s shop.
At around 2.10am on Saturday September 17 offenders forced entry to a rear door of Bakers Butchers in the Woolgate Centre.
The offenders damaged a freezer inside the shop and stole cash before carrying the money off in a shopping trolley.
Investigating officer PC Craig Vaughan based at Witney police station said: “I would like to speak to anyone with any information about this burglary or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at around the time of the offence.
“I would also like to speak to the men shown in the CCTV images, or anyone who recognises them, as they may have information which could be important to our investigation.
“I am keeping an open mind as to whether it is linked to a burglary during the same night at Church Green Café in Market Square, Witney.”
Anyone with information should contact 101.
