THREE men from Wiltshire have been charged with offences surrounding Oxford United's clash with Swindon at the weekend.
The men, all in their 20s, were arrested by police on Saturday, with one suspected of setting off a firework in Botley Road.
Yesterday Mark Gee, aged 24, of Semington Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, was charged with one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and one count of throwing fireworks in Botley Road.
He has been bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 11.
Stuart Greener, aged 25, of Barnes Wallis Close, Bowerhill, Wiltshire was charged with one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
He has been bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 11.
Clayton Scott, aged 27, of Islandsmead, Eldene, Swindon, was charged with one count of use threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence - in Botley Road.
He has been bailed to appear in Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 26.
