Weather warning for heavy rain and thunder storms this afternoon
HEAVY rain is expected across the county as the MetOffice has issued a weather warning for Oxfordshire.
Rain, thunder and lightning is on its way from about 3pm today according to the MetOffice.
The yellow weather warning is alerting people to heavy rainfall which in some cases will be up to 40 to 60mm in three to six hours.
This could cause some travel disruptions and is expected to continue through the night and into tomorrow morning.
