THIS afternoon's massive unexpected downpour of thunder, lightning, rain and hail has caused minor flash flooding in parts of Oxfordshire.
Our photographer Dave Fleming caught this snap of a road in Marston and there are reports of a similar flash flood on a road in Ickford , a few miles east of Oxford.
The sudden deluge has also hit Flofest festival in Florence Park, East Oxford, this afternoon, and drenched hundreds of people at Witney's LibFest, as well as dozens of other outdoor events.
The forecast for the rest of the day is still for overcast but dry weather with a few glimpses of sun, and the same again tomorrow.
