A TEDDY that was left at Oxford Station whilst its owner travelled hundreds of miles away has found its way home.

Thanks to the staff at Oxford Railway Station and the GWR's #TeddyRescue the toy bunny was reunited with its owner who had continued on to Edinburgh.

GWR spokesman James Davis said: "Around a year ago GWR started a campaign to reunite lost cuddly toys, found at stations and on our trains, with their owners.

"The cuddly rabbit was left at Oxford station and the owner got in touch with our lost property team.

"We are pleased to say that the lost bunny only spent a few days at the station being looked after by the staff before the owner came back to get it.

"I believe they were travelling from London to Edinburgh as a tourist when it was left in Oxford.

"We are happy to be able to reunite them."

The teddy was left behind on Wednesday.
