Traffic woes for commuters have started this early this afternoon as the city grinds to a halt.
Slow traffic has been reported on the Woodstock Road outbound between Moreton Road and the Wolvercote Roundabout and 20 minute delays on Banbury Road Northbound between Marston Ferry Road and the Cutteslowe Roundabout
Stagecoach Oxford has said it is experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes on a number of its services this afternoon.
It said its S2 and S3 service is delayed.

The Oxford Bus Company has also reported that there will be a 10 to 15 minute delay on its Heathrow service departures from Gloucester Green.

It has also been reported this afternoon on the A34 southbound, the exit slip road is partially blocked on the Western By Pass at the Peartree Interchange because of emergency repairs.
There is also a broken down vehicle partially blocking a lane after the East Ilsley turn off on the A34 Southbound, which is also causing delays.
Drivers heading on the A40 westbound from the Marston Flyover to the Cutteslowe roundabout are facing delays of up to 35 minutes.
There are also delays of 15 minutes on the A420 in both directions through the temporary traffic lights at Bessels Leigh.
Commuters who were looking to get the 16.49, 17.36 and 18.50 from Oxford to London Paddington are cancelled according to Great Western Railway.
