1. Our front page- Southern Health finally accept responsibility for the death of Connor Sparrowhawk

An NHS mental health trust has finally accepted responsibility for the death of Oxford teenager Connor Sparrowhawk after his family's three-year battle for justice.

Southern Health said it was "deeply sorry" the 18-year-old died in its care, and admitted to breaching his human rights.

In 2013 Connor drowned in a bath at Slade House care unit in Slade Park, Headington. He had been left unattended and suffered an epileptic fit.

A coroner ruled his death was partially due to neglect last year, and the trust yesterday admitted acting unlawfully – but refused to comment on the future of executives facing calls to resign.
