MORE than 100 of people queued for the chance to get a paw-tograph and picture with an "underdog with the overbite" tonight.

Tuna the 'Chiweenie" has stolen the hearts of millions of people world-wide with his cheeky overbite, racking up 1.7 million Instagram followers.

So when the five-year-old Chihuahua-Dachshund cross arrived in Oxford hundreds of people took the oppor-tuna-ty to go meet him.

Crowds of all ages formed a queue that spiralled through Blackwells bookshop in Broad Street to get copies of his Paw-tobiography - Tuna Melts My Heart - signed by him and his owner.

While owner Courtney Dasher signed the books with a paw print from Tuna, the social media star was passed around for photographs with his fans.

Twins Thomas and Hannah Wilson, aged nine, from Abingdon got to meet the rescue dog with mum Karen.

Hannah said: "I started following him after seeing his pictures on Instagram, I think he's really cute.

"I'm very excited to have met him."

Ms Dasher, who adopted Tuna after an animal charity found him in the streets of San Diego, said the pair have really enjoyed their trip to Oxford.

She added: "They have been lovely, everyone has been exceptional, amazing people."

Signed copies of the book are still available from the store.
