Handed a 17-month driving ban.

Marcus Keady, 32, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £42.60 worth of meat from Tesco’s, in Park Road, Faringdon, on January 14. Handed a 28-day sentence, suspended for six months. Ordered to pay £43.20 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge.

Alvin Mutyaba, 35, of Rose Hill, admitted drink-driving in Cowley Road, Oxford, on December 31 last year. Had 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs. Handed a 20 month driving ban.

Bilal Salih, 21, of Crescent Road, admitted drink-driving in High Street, Oxford, on January 1. Had 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs. Handed a 17-month driving ban.

Brian Todman, 24, of no fixed abode, admitted wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty in St John’s Court, Grove, on January 14. Conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Simon Lightfoot, 36, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, admitted stealing Nescafe coffee jars from the Co-op in Wantage Road, Didcot, on May 17 last year. Conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.

Sean Robins, 20, of Derwent Avenue, Headington, convicted of assaulting Edward Sung by beating in Park End Street, Oxford, on August 28 last year. Handed a community order and made subject to a three-month curfew. Ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £500 Crown Prosecution Service costs. Admitted a further offence of assaulting Edward Sung in Oxford last year.

Ainsley Smith, 34, of Lancut Road, Witney, admitted stealing £36 worth of Veuve Clicquot Champagne from the Co-op, in The Square, Botley, on April 7 last year, together with Christopher Wain. Fined £270, ordered to pay £92.48 compensation, a £27 victim surcharge and £325 costs. Also admitted stealing two bottles of Grey Goose whiskey worth £38.49 each, one £22.99 bottle of whiskey and one £25.49 bottle of Jack Daniels Ten from the same Co-op on May 19 last year, together with Christopher Wain. Ordered to pay £62.73 compensation.

Christopher Wain, 38, of Richens Drive, Carterton, admitted stealing £31.58 worth of washing gels or liquids from the Co-op in High Street, Eynsham, on March 6 last year, together with Ainsley Smith. Also admitted stealing £184.95 worth of Veuve Clicquot Champagne from the Co-op, in The Square, Botley, on April 7 last year, together with Ainsley Smith. Jailed for six weeks. Ordered to pay £92.48 compensation. Also admitted stealing two bottles of Grey Goose whiskey worth £38.49 each, one £22.99 bottle of whiskey and one £25.49 bottle of Jack Daniels Ten from the same Co-op on May 19 last year, together with Ainsley Smith. Jailed for six weeks. Ordered to pay a total of £186.79 compensation.

Simon Day, 24, of Dirac Place, Didcot, admitted criminally damaging a bus window worth £405.68 belonging to Oxford Bus Company in Stratton Way, Abingdon, on June 19. Given a two-year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £405.68 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Dobbs, 26, of O’Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted begging in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on November 19. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs. The £2.72 he collected to be confiscated.

Arren Greenslade, 21, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka worth £19 from the Co-op in Oxford on January 2. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Rushmer, 55, of no fixed address, admitted using insulting language to police officers, contrary to an Antisocial Behaviour Order, in Cowley Road, Oxford, on January 17. Sent to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.

Michael Elphic, 31, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a Nike top worth £54.99 from Sports Direct at Seacourt Tower Retail Park, Botley Road, on November 7. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 23. Fined £100, given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £105 costs.

Artur Jackoswki, 29, of Bodley Road, Littlemore, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on December 6. Also admitted failing to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 12 having been released on bai. Fined £175 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £105 costs.
