BURGLARS forced their way through the roof of an antiques centre in Southcombe to steal jewellery and a watch.
Police are appealing for witness after the roof of the Quiet Woman Antique Centre in Oxford Road was ripped open by burglars.
Between 11pm and 11:30pm yesterday evening, cabinets were smashed and jewellery and at least one watch was stolen.
No one is in the store at the time.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Richard White, from Witney Local CID, said: “I would like to speak to anybody who saw any suspicious vehicles or people in the area during the evening or any vehicles driving at speed in the area.
“If you have any information which could assist with our enquiries please contact police.”
