Sent to prison for 12 weeks and banned from entering any pub for 12 months. Ordered to pay £80 compensation and an £80 victims’ surcharge.

Robert Churchward, 27, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Wantage on December 20. Ordered to take part in alcohol dependency treatment for six months and pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Damien Everton, 29, of HM Prison Bullingdon, Arncott, admitted possessing a mobile phone without authority inside prison on September 23. Sentenced to 14 days in prison suspended for six months and ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.

James Tew, 19, of Old Road, Wheatley, admitted assaulting a man and a woman by beating them in Oxford on November 13. Ordered to take part in a building better relationships rehabilitation programme for 80 days with a restraining order preventing him contacting a woman and going within 100 metres of an address in Valentia Road, Oxford. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Christopher Newitt, 27, of Rookery Court, Didcot, admitted stealing meat and alcohol worth £104.12 jointly with two others from the Co-op in Dorchester-on-Thames on August 13. Ordered to take part in drug dependency treatment for six months, pay £35 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.

Helen Warr, 52, of Park Town, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance in Oxpens Road, Oxford, on April 6. Fined £1,000 and ordered to pay a £100 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Desraj Kajoo, 45, of Cumberland Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in The Street, Moulsford, on February 23. Fined £315 and ordered to pay a £32 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.

Frank Hadley, 70, of Windmill Road, Headington, admitted carrying a hammer in public and criminally damaging a Ford Focus in Windmill Road, Oxford, on December 31, and assaulting a police officer in Abingdon on the same day. Damien Stankiewicz, 35, of Hollow Way, Cowley, convicted of possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on December 31. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
