MORE than 350 people celebrated a toy and train fair’s 30th birthday at the weekend.
The event held at the Exeter Hall in Oxford Road, Kidlington, offered visitors the chance to browse items for sale at more than 70 stalls.
A Bassett-Lowke model of the famous Flying Scotsman locomotive was one of the highlights – with a price tag of about £500.

Tim Knights was selling Hornby O Gauge locomotives and tracks.
Organiser Richard Atkins, from Oxford, said he was thrilled to see the event continuing – his passion for trains and toys saw him start the fair at the hall in 1985.

Now retired, Mr Atkins said: “We attract people from all over the place and we depend on the support of stallholders who come here.”
