A double from John Umney proved in vain for Middle Barton as they went down to a 3-2 extra-time defeat against Garsington in the final of the President's Cup on Monday.
It looked all over as a contest when Garsington strolled into a 2-0 lead, only for Middle Barton to hit back and force extra time.
Liam Callaghan opened the scoring before Jay Morris doubled their tally.
Umney then clawed one back from the penalty spot, before his free-kick brought the sides level.
Andy Brown had a late goal disallowed for Middle Barton before Garsington sealed it with Morris's second goal in extra time.
In the league, Launton Sports fought back to beat Adderbury Park 2-1 in the Premier Division.
Trailing to Joe Marron's opener, Launton levelled when Lee Thomas hammered home after the keeper saved Arron Davies's initial effort.
After the break, Adam Hodson had an effort ruled out for offside before Davies lobbed the winner.
Division 1 leaders Worcester & Bletchingdon hammered Kings Sutton 5-1, despite having centre half Simon Grossman sent off.
Bletchingdon's goals came via Jinxy Faulkner, Stuart Wells, Ryan Randell and a brace from sub Joel Thomas. Kings Sutton replied through Gary Roberts.
In Division 2A, Launton Res won 2-1 at neighbours Fritwell Res.
Liam Clark cancelled out Fritwell's opener, before Clark sealed his brace with a second-half thunderbolt from 25 yards.
