LEAVERS at Magdalen College School enjoyed a day in the sun before heading for new adventures.
As is tradition, the upper sixth formers celebrated their last day of lessons before A-Level exams by dressing up in an array of fancy dress costumes.
The pupils enjoyed a barbecue on the school fields, a bouncy castle, Gladiators-style contests and an obstacle class as afternoon lessons were cancelled on Friday.
Alex Sheard was part of a group of leavers who spent the day sweltering in penguin outfits.
The 18-year-old from Faringdon said: “It was really fun. There was a good atmosphere and it was a lively and fun day.
“I don’t think our fancy dress was quite the best though, there was a Lord of the Rings group that were really good .”
