A MAN has today appeared in court charged with murder after a man was found with chest injuries in Barton late on Tuesday night.
Rafal Stawski of Mayfair Road, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Magistrates' court today.
The 34-year-old was charged in connection to an incident in which a man was found with chest wounds in a red Mazda in North Way, Barton.
The injured man, named as Wojciech Ryniak, died in hospital of his injuries on Wednesday.
Stawski was remanded in custody and will now appear at Oxford Crown Court on April 28.
It is understood that Mr Ryniak was originally from Poland and his family are due to come to the UK in the next week.
A 31-year-old from Oxford was also arrested in connection with the murder, but will face no further action on that charge, police said.
