Arson could be cause of fire in Yarnton field
A POTENTIAL arson attack in Yarnton is being investigated by Thames Valley Police.
A fire involving plastic material in a field behind the Begbroke Science Park, in Sandy Lane, started this afternoon.
A spokeswoman from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 4.55pm.
“We sent one truck from Kidlington fire station and the fire was dealt with quickly.
“The matter has been referred to Thames Valley Police as it is believed to be arson.”
Thames Valley Police weren’t available for comment.
