BUS services in central Oxford are being severely affected due to heavy traffic in the city centre.
The Oxford Bus Company 5 service, which usually terminates at Oxford Railway Station, will now terminate at Gloucester Green due to traffic caused by ongoing road works on the A420.
Earlier the company told customers to expect 25 minute delays on services travelling westbound on the Botley Road.
The whole of the road westbound is currently gridlocked, with queues beginning at the Botley interchange and ending as far as the Ashmolean Museum in Beaumont Street.
Last week Oxfordshire County Council closed the A420 westbound between the A34 and Cumnor to carry out emergency works due to subsidence.
The work is expected to take eight weeks in total.
