A WATER main has burst between Woodeaton and Islip on the B4027.
There is no impact to the water supply of nearby houses but there is some minor flooding on the road.
The road is open at the moment but there could be traffic management procedures in place once Thames Water attend.
A Thames Water spokesman said: "We are currently repairing a 6" burst water main in Wheatley Road, OX5.
"The burst has caused some damage to the road surface.
"Please would motorists take care along this road as it is now limited to one lane so we can carry out our repairs safely. We are sorry for any disruption to your journeys."
