FANS went wild as Kanye West left in a blacked-out Mercedes from the Museum of National History this afternoon.

Students flocked to see the superstar after news broke late last night that The Oxford Guild society managed to convince the rapper to do a talk.

Student Lewis Hedges said: “No one knows what he’s talking about, nobody knew about him coming until last night.

“It came up on social media yesterday and there were three ballots at 12pm, 2am then 9am. I got in the last ballot and paid £3.83 for my ticket.

“We aren’t die-hard fans, but if Kanye West is in Oxford we would go see him.”

Organisers remained tight-lipped throughout, but it was reported that the husband of Kim Kardashian was taken in the side entrance of the museum.

Other fans in The Oxford Guild said that they were just told “We’ve got Kanye”.

Ticket holders asked questions to the American about his life, career and new album in a session that lasted about 45 minutes.

But once Mr West exited the building, fans went crazy and showed their love for the rapper.

Rhys Davies, a fan from Wood Farm, said: “I’m a massive fan of Kanye, I love him. I’m not a student so I wasn’t able to get a ticket but apparently there were over 5000 people who balloted for 350 tickets.

“If I had one question to ask Kanye it would be about when the album is dropping, we can’t wait for it.”

Student Albert Wood added: “I’m just here for the banter. Last night I was doing my work and five of my mates messaged me saying that he was visiting.

“I managed to get a ticket and we are here because we are curious what he is doing here, nobody knows what was going on.”
