PUPILS from Oxford primary schools united for a concert to show off the musical talents of children across the city.
Young musicians from Orchard Meadow, Pegasus, Windale,Windmill, Wolvercote, St Andrew’s and St Barnabas’ primary schools teamed up with the Dragon School, which hosted the show.
The performance on Tuesday was the culmination of a series of sessions led by the Bardwell Road prep school and Oxford Philomusica, aimed at enabling more children to play music.
Dragon school director of music Vicky Savage said: “It was really nice to see the children playing music together.”

Hattie O’Keefe, from Windale Primary School performed in the strings section.
The nine-year-old has been learning the violin for two years.
She said “It was a bit scary at first, but good fun .”
