Roadworks at a busy city centre junction have been finished on time by Oxfordshire County Council.

The work at the junction of Worcester Street and George Street ended last week when resurfacing was completed.

The council has now created a four-way junction that includes Hythe Bridge Street, with traffic lights and pedestrian crossings.

It is part of preparations for the revamp of Frideswide Square, outside the railway station, due to start in February next year.
