ACTIVATION of a long-awaited rising bollard to restrict traffic in the centre of Kidlington has been delayed again due to vandalism on Saturday.
Cherwell District Council said the long-awaited High Street bollard – installed last month – is now expected to be operational next week.
Spokesman Tony Ecclestone said: “There was some vandalism to the traffic signal over the weekend.
“Replacements items are being sourced. It is likely to be fixed next week.”
The council has reported the damage to police.
