A WOMAN was taken to hospital tonight after being involved in a collision with a car in St Aldate’s, Oxford.
South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Archer said the female pedestrian's injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
She said: “We were called at 7.06pm to St Aldate’s.
“Ambulance crews assessed and treated one woman at the scene for her injuries, which were not life-threatening, and she was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.”
Traffic reports initially said there had been queues between Blue Boar Street and Longwall Street, where the crash happened.
But a member of staff in St Aldate’s Tavern told the Oxford Mail the area is now clear.
