A 22-YEAR-OLD who robbed two teenagers of their phones and assaulted the mother of his two children has been jailed for 17 months.
Damien Davies, of Barton Village Road, Barton, Oxford, was sentenced on Thursday after he admitted two counts of robbery, a common assault and an affray.
William Eaglestone, prosecuting, said on February 25 this year the defendant robbed a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old in Bicester within 10 minutes of each other.
He told Recorder John Bate-Williams on both occasions Davies got out of a car and threatened the youths into handing over their iPhone 4s.

Mr Eaglestone said when his younger victim refused to comply he punched him.
The barrister said three days later on February 28, Davies went to the home of his former partner Lucy Nichols, while her two young children were in the house.
Upon seeing her new boyfriend in the house the defendant became angry and chased him out with a kitchen knife, Mr Eaglestone said.
He said Davies then grabbed Miss Nichols by the throat and slapped her in the face.
Lucy Ffrench said her client, who has seven previous convictions for nine offences, had been left “desperate” after the couple’s relationship ended.
Passing sentence in Oxford Crown Court, recorder Bate-Williams told Davies the crimes he had committed were “disgusting”, “appalling” and “cowardly”.
