THIS monk is one of the lucky ones after shops sold out of pumpkins on Halloween.
Steve Stevens was helping wife, Marianne, run a craft and fun day for children at Annie’s Tea Room in Thrupp, North Oxfordshire.
The coach driver, 56, said: “We had a treasure hunt, kids were making bats and ghosts in a craft corner, and we had pumpkin carving.
“I spent my day scaring all the kids around the yard and reading ghost stories.

“It was fabulous, we were rammed.
“We’re doing it again today and we’ve completely run out of pumpkins. We can’t find any anywhere to stock up, but we’ve got lots of other games for the kids to play.”
He said: “We even had a woman come in with her little one heartbroken because they couldn’t find a pumpkin to take home.
“We sold them one of the scabby ones we had left.”
