THE WEIRD and wonderful oddities of nature are on display in Oxford this week.

Camron Pinney, six, visited the Museum of Natural History in Parks Road with grandparents Sue and Pete Tyrrell, of Woodstock.

Mrs Tyrrell, 60, said: “Camron had been before on a school trip, but my husband and I hadn’t been in donkey’s years. He absolutely loves dinosaurs and fossils and all the sorts of things they have on display there.

There were also other activities like colouring and crafts and you could find objects as you went round the tour of the museum. You also got to touch all the animals on display.”

Camron said: “We looked at ammonites and dinosaurs and fossils. My favourite dinosaur is the T-rex and they had one at the museum.”

The event will also be running today and tomorrow, from 1pm to 4pm. Phone 01865 272950 or visit oum.ox.ac.uk
