A SCHEME costing at least £1.25m to review Oxford’s sewerage system has been officially unveiled at the Oxford Flood Partnership’s annual forum.
The Thames Water Catchment Study will review Oxford’s system after concerns were raised by Oxford City Council that it was no longer fit for purpose.
Oxford is one of five areas being looked at and the scheme will be completed in three phases.
The first phase, which costs £260,000 and is starting this month, will monitor the sewerage system and gather evidence of problems.
