AN Oxford University professor is among a team of British scientists going to Guinea to start human drug trials as part of a bid to halt the Ebola epidemic.

Dr Peter Horby, of the university’s Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, based at the Old Road Campus in Headington, is leading the group that will evaluate untested treatments on people.
