IT was a delicious day out at Thame Food Festival on Saturday as chefs from around the world cooked up a storm in the town.

Peruvian street-food chef Harry Goicochea was one of dozens of cooks offering an eclectic range of foods to visitors.

He said: “I had a fantastic day, it was a great experience.’’ Mr Goicochea, who now lives in Slough, served his signature dish, chicken marinated in chillis served with a quinoa salad, which is traditional in Peru.

The festival, which has been running since 2008, brings together food produces, retailers, chefs, food and drink experts, restaurants and cafes in the local area.
