A LOT has changed about Stanton St John in 100 years.
This weekend the village just outside Oxford looked back over a century of life as well as its present. The Stanton St John annual summer festival was held at the village’s Wheatley Road cricket club on Sunday and Monday.
As well as a wide range of entertainment, including birds of prey and sports, there was also a display of artefacts of village life and local arts and crafts.
Six-year-old Milo Thompson, who lives in the village, explored one of his sculptor father Andrew’s creations. He said: “I am having a great time.”
