Main roads out of Oxford face delays tonight as visitors to Oxford University’s Open Day head home.

The university expected thousands of people to flock to the city today.

The A420, Banbury Road, Donnington Bridge Road, A423, Botley Road and the A40 all have higher than normal traffic, causing congestion through Oxford.

It's a bit slow coming into Oxford from the A34 at the Hinksey Hill interchange too, because some prat has left one lane of the roundabout closed off, even though they've finished work for the day, and gone home!

There is no need to close the lane yet anyway, at least not until they actually start work on the road. Prats
