ARTWORK of the city’s dreaming spires was auctioned off by school pupils.
Year 6 children at Windmill Primary School created the canvas which was shown to parents on Friday.
The school raised £73 for the Year 6 end-of-year project from the sale of two paintings.
Abi Hollis, 11, said: “I loved making the big canvas together, everyone in our year got to have a go.
“My favourite part of the day was running all of the stalls alongside the gallery. We ran a drinks stall and there was also a chocolate fountain, shooting alley, nail salon, cupcake designing, hotdogs, photo booth, lots.”
Shola Enwonwu, 11, said: “We all got to do a little bit of the big canvas, which was really good.
“It was great to work together as a year group on that project. I was really proud when one of the teachers from our school said she really liked my landscape which was on display in the gallery.”
