More than 150 people registered their bikes as part of a police safety event yesterday.
Thames Valley Police held a cycle safety and security advice roadshow in Broad Street as part of Oxford Bike Week.
People registered to the online bike identification initiative BikeRegister.
They added in the details of their bike to the database which can then be used to check if a bike has been stolen.
Oxford Bike Week began last Saturday and will come to an end on Sunday.
