OXFORD students and residents are being urged to raid their wardrobes and donate unwanted items to charity.

Oxford City Council, Oxford Brookes University and the University of Oxford have partnered with the British Heart Foundation to gather vital stock for the charity’s shops.

Donation bins, pop-up boxes and clothing banks will be placed across the city.

Clothing, shoes, CDs, DVDs, books, kitchenware and small electrical items are needed.
