Oxford was the seventh most visited city in the UK, according to new figures.
Organisation VisitBritain revealed more than 16.7 million foreign people came to the UK in 2013.
A total of 456,000 people visited Oxford last year, making it the seventh most popular behind London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow. The figures also showed overseas visitors also spent £21.01bn nationally, up 12.7 per cent on 2012.
