Police have appealed for people who may have filmed an assault on their mobile phones.
A 23-year-old man was attacked after becoming involved in a dispute over cigarettes, which happened at about 3.10am on Saturday. The man was queuing for a taxi at St Aldate’s, Oxford, with friends when he was punched by the suspect.
Two other men also got involved and knocked him to the ground, before jumping on his back. The victim escaped to a police station where an ambulance was called and he was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, but later discharged.
