VISITORS marvelled at a teenage magician during a special late-night opening of Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum.
Sebastian Walton, who won The Magic Circle’s Young Magician of the Year award last April, joined the Magic Museums at Night event on Friday.
Performing to crowds of more than 100 people, the 18-year-old dazzled audiences during three shows of his close-up magic and illusion act.
The full-time magician from Leeds, said: “I think it was great. The crowd were all cheering and everyone was happy. It was a buzzing night.”
Alongside the magic act, visitors were treated to live Flamenco performances, tarot card readings, Chinese astrology, Druid storytelling and special curator tours of the Beaumont Street museum.
Mr Walton is the youngest president of Leeds Magical Association since 1912.
