TWO firms have pleaded not guilty to breaching health and safety rules over an incident where an Oxford woman was struck by a falling object.
Erith Contractors Limited and Inter-Steels Limited both yesterday denied two counts of breaching regulations in the Health & Safety at Work Act while working in George Street, Oxford.
It is alleged they did this by failing to ensure Tessa Goldin was not exposed to the risk of being struck by falling materials or objects between October 1 and November 3, 2011.
A trial is now due to take place on November 17.
